Just returned from a great day trip to Tijuana to visit a culinary school and see some really interesting modern architecture, as well as an international art exhibit. Tijuana is a mixture of contradictions, but seeing this side of it was eye-opening in a different way...
thoroughly enjoying your posts!
Why thank you, Caroline. 🙂
This is so interesting! It seems there is a lot of modern art and architecture happening in Mexico these days. The exhibit reminds me of this home, built by a Maya construction crew, with no machines or wheelbarrows. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/16/greathomesanddestinations/travel-writers-create-an-oasis-in-mexico-on-location.html?smid=pl-share
Wow, that looks beautiful! Interesting article. Hmmm. Maybe we'll have to buy some cool place in Mexico someday...
