second city council art gallery

Well, I was quite happy last week to hear from Marc, the designer working with 2nd City Council Art Gallery in Long Beach where I have my next group show. He notified me that they had selected my artwork for the cover of their promotional flier! That's definitely a first for me. Here it is:

I mentioned this show in an earlier blog post when I was in the process of submitting work for consideration...its theme revolves around text. Very appropriate for much of what I make. This gallery has a really nice community feel to it, so I'm really glad to be part of their show. The opening reception will be June 26th from 7 to 9pm.
