Last week I was walking on the other side of town for a change of pace. It definitely has a different feel than our current neighborhood. It is wealthier and generally nicer-looking. Some random shots:

However, this side of town is also more sanitized and less interesting. So I wasn't sure if I'd have any quirky photo opportunities. I was not disappointed when I came across this in someone's front yard:

Why someone would put this in the yard, I have no idea. Do they find it relaxing, perhaps peaceful, to gaze upon? Is he like a yard companion?
